L3 MAPPS announced today that it has won a contract from ENGIE Electrabel to upgrade the Tihange Unit 1 full scope operator training simulator. The original simulator, developed by L3 MAPPS in cooperation with Tractebel ENGIE, was declared Ready For Training on March 4, 2016.

SPDES: L3 Power Distribution Wins $24 Million Contract to Provide Power Node Control Centers for the U.S. Navy's LHA 8 Program

PHILADELPHIA, April 9, 2018

L3 Power Distribution announced today that it has received a fully funded contract valued at $24 million from HII-Ingalls Shipbuilding to supply 40 Power Node Control Centers (PNCC) for the U.S. Navy's LHA 8 Large Deck Amphibious program. The PNCC is also supplied on the U.S. Navy's DDG program, providing vital power to systems that require 400 Hz power.
